•         When do we pay you?

Weddings & Events:

A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the session price is required on the day of booking to secure your date. This fee is included in the total package cost. The remaining balance can be paid in monthly instalments or in full at any point before your event.

Studio / Outdoor:

A booking fee (as per the current price list) is required at the time of booking. This covers the session and includes 3 edited images selected by the photographer. Additional edits can be purchased separately according to the price list.

• Cancellation Policy

Weddings & Events:

The booking fee is non-refundable, as your date is reserved exclusively and I turn down other bookings for the same day. Cancellations are handled according to the contract signed at the time of booking (template available upon request).

Studio / Outdoor:

The booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session, the booking fee is non-refundable.

•         Who owns the copyrights?

Copyright remains with me, the photographer, as per industry standard. However, I grant you a personal printing license, which allows you to print your images in unlimited quantities and share them freely on social media.

I reserve the right to use selected images for promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolio, etc.). To thank clients who support this, I offer discounted prices listed in my price list for those who sign a release confirming permission to use their images for marketing.

If permission is not granted or is withdrawn later, the session price will revert to the standard (non-discounted) rate as outlined in the price list.

•         How do you approach the wedding?

I strive to be unobtrusive and capture genuine emotions. Most of the pictures will be in color, but you can also expect some artistic black and white shots. Prior to the wedding, we will discuss any "must-have" posed pictures, and you can decide on the best time to capture them, typically after the ceremony.

•         Is traveling cost included?

I cover the Cardiff area and surrounding regions within a 15-mile radius. However, I am open to traveling to other destinations if reasonable expenses are covered.

•         What if I want to have an option tailored to my needs?

I offer three different wedding packages based on popular options couples prefer. If none of the packages suit your requirements, please contact me, and we can work together to create a customized package that meets your expectations.

•         Do you always shoot weddings alone?

No! Occasionally, I work with my husband, who is also a skilled photographer. We share the same style, and he is a valuable part of my team. Having a backup plan is crucial to ensure your wedding day is captured flawlessly.

•         Can you shoot the Groom getting ready as well as the Bride?

As mentioned earlier, I occasionally work with my husband. If he is present on your wedding day, we can capture both the Groom and the Bride getting ready.

•        Why should we choose you?

If you like a natural, relaxed photography style for weddings and events, you’re in the right place. My goal is to capture genuine moments as they unfold, without interrupting the flow of your day.

In the studio, I offer a completely different experience: something bold, creative, and high-fashion. It’s a space where we can experiment with styling, lighting, and posing to create striking, editorial-quality images.

With transparent pricing, no hidden costs, and plenty of experience, I aim to make the entire process smooth and enjoyable, from first contact to final delivery.

•        Do we have to meet in person?

No, we don't have to meet in person prior to the photo shoot. However, if you'd like to get a sense of my working style before the wedding, you can book an engagement photoshoot (included in the Platinum package or available separately). This will give us an opportunity to spend time together, get to know each other better, and make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement photoshoots and outdoor wedding pictures are weather-dependent and can be rescheduled without any risk of losing money. All wedding packages include a free online consultation.

•        Can other people take pictures during the wedding?

It's entirely up to you, but I recommend advising your guests to fully enjoy the moments with you instead of taking random shots with their phones. An unprofessional photographer might inadvertently get in the way and limit my ability to capture the best possible pictures.

•         What’s FULL DAY COVERAGE?

Full day coverage means I will capture moments from the Bridal Preparation until the Evening Reception, typically ending by midnight. The specific structure of the coverage depends on your ceremony, but it usually includes:

• Bridal Preparation (Groom preparation is subject to the availability of a second photographer)

• Arrival of guests and the Groom at the Ceremony venue

• Ceremony coverage

• Formal group photos at the ceremony or reception venue

• Short Bride and Groom photoshoot at the ceremony or reception venue

• Reception and speeches

• Cake cutting

• First Dance

• Evening reception

•       Can someone accompany me during the studio photoshoot?

From my experience, photoshoots alone with the photographer tend to bring better results. However, if you’d like to bring a friend, you’re welcome to do so.

Please do not bring more than one guest, as multiple spectators can interrupt the process.

The studio is located in Cardiff Bay Business Centre, where we provide a safe and friendly environment. The premises are secure, with on-site security, and the studio is wheelchair accessible.

•       Do you take group photos?

Evita Studio is best suited for individual photo shoots, couples, or small families (parents and children). For larger groups or multi-generational sessions, I recommend an outdoor location. These sessions are priced individually based on your needs.

•     Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at Evita Pics Studio. However, I do love furry family members and offer outdoor photoshoots where pets are more than welcome. If you'd like studio-style headshots with your pet, I can set up a mobile studio in the comfort of your home.

•   What kind of photography do you offer?

I specialise in a range of photography styles, including:

• Themed studio sessions (e.g. boho, boudoir, burlesque, influencer shoots, Christmas, Halloween, etc.)

•   What kind of photography don’t you offer?

I do not offer newborn or cake smash photography.
